FIU Parking Garage #6

OVERVIEW

Florida International University’s precast parking garage was completed in January 2015. The seven-level structure provides parking along with more than 50,000 square feet of retail and classroom space. The project also included construction of a pedestrian bridge spanning Campus Drive, consisting of a precast concrete double tee system with spandrel panels, connecting the garage to a new elevator and stair tower.

Florida Lemark performed the complete concrete scope of work for the project, including foundations and precast erection. While Florida Lemark did not serve as the General Contractor, we were the major trade partner on the project and continue to maintain a strong working relationship and active partnership with the General Contractor team today.
