Norland Middle School GOB Partial Replacement and Renovation

OVERVIEW

Florida Lemark Corporation proudly completed Phase II of the Norland Middle School GOB Partial Replacement and Renovation, delivering a comprehensive modernization across multiple campus buildings. This phase focused on enhancing both functionality and student experience through extensive upgrades, including the full renovation of classrooms, restrooms, administrative spaces, and the auditorium. Major improvements featured the conversion of the existing warming kitchen into a fully equipped commercial kitchen, complete with new cooking equipment, walk-in cooler/freezer, upgraded finishes, and modern mechanical and electrical systems. Throughout the campus, outdated infrastructure was replaced with new HVAC systems, electrical upgrades, roofing systems, impact-resistant windows and storefronts, and a campus-wide fire alarm system, ensuring long-term performance, safety, and code compliance.

In addition to interior renovations, the project revitalized key shared spaces and campus amenities. The auditorium was transformed with new stage lighting and sound systems, refinished seating, extended stage, and ADA accessibility improvements. Buildings received new flooring, acoustical ceilings, lighting systems, and reconfigured layouts to better support staff and student needs, including updated administrative offices and teacher lounges. Exterior enhancements included complete campus-wide painting, new covered walkways, a marquee sign, and the resurfacing of basketball courts. Infrastructure upgrades such as new domestic water piping and municipal service connections further strengthened the campus’s reliability. The result is a modernized, efficient, and visually refreshed learning environment that supports Norland Middle School’s continued growth and success.
