Miami, FL – July 15,2025— Florida Lemark Corporation is proud to announce that our
team has been selected by the Archdiocese of Miami to construct the new Christ the
King Catholic Church in South Miami-Dade. This inspiring project represents a major
step forward for the parish community and continues Florida Lemark’s partnership with
the Archdiocese in delivering meaningful, faith-driven spaces across South Florida.
Located at 16000 SW 112th Avenue in Miami, the new Christ the King Church will
replace the parish’s existing facilities with a beautifully designed, contemporary house of
worship. The new structure—designed by AHF Design Studios and managed by
Laudate Dominum, LLC—features a striking modern façade that combines timeless
ecclesiastical architecture with natural light, open space, and community-centered
design.
The church will include a spacious main sanctuary, a choir loft, administrative offices,
and gathering areas to support both liturgical and community activities. Architectural
renderings and elevations (as shown in the project drawings) highlight a design that
emphasizes spiritual warmth and accessibility, incorporating features such as a large
arched entryway, tall vertical windows, and a symbolic cross integrated into the exterior
walls.
Construction is anticipated to begin at the beginning of December with substantial
completion expected within 14 months thereafter.
“We’re honored to partner once again with the Archdiocese of Miami to bring this sacred
vision to life,” said Emilio Rodriguez, President of Florida Lemark Corporation. “Christ
the King will stand as a testament to faith, community, and craftsmanship—an enduring
symbol of worship and fellowship for generations to come.”
The Florida Lemark team looks forward to contributing our expertise in construction
management and sustainable building to create a lasting home for the Christ the King
parish family.
